How to Make a Cookbook Stand

Cookbooks can hold treasured and valued recipes, but cooking can be messy. A cookbook lying on its back is susceptible to being ruined by spills. A cookbook holder can protect against spills and allow you to read the recipe off the page without having to touch the book with messy hands. Making a cookbook holder is easy and can be done in a matter of an hour or so.

Instructions

    1

Take two of the pieces of wood and put them together in an L-shape, using wood glue or the nails to hold them.

    2

Take the third piece of wood, and glue it or nail it down to create a U-shape.

    3

Stain or paint the wood pieces.

    4

Set the wood pieces to dry.

    5

Place your opened cookbook inside the U-shaped cookbook holder.
