How to Make a Scrapbook With Table Numbers

Scrapbooks are a way to memorialize a special occasion or event. Use a table number as the cover to a unique, personalized book for yourself or to be given as a gift. Make a basic book, or for the more artistically inclined, scrap an intricate and imaginative creation.

Instructions

    1

Gather photos, mementos, and other items to use. These should include table numbers (one per page) and at least five or six pictures. Other items may be a written wedding program, an invitation, tickets, place cards, or even paper cocktail napkins.

    2

Cut the card stock to approximately 6 by 25 inches. If the table numbers are larger, increase the width by a few inches. Use a pencil and ruler to maintain a straight, even edge.

    3

Measure the card stock into 5-inch sections. Fold the card stock at each 5-inch interval.

    4

Fold the measured card stock accordion style, with one side on top the next to form one book.

    5

Glue the first table number to the front of the book. Choose the most important table number, such as the bride and groom's, as the front cover. Add the date of the event or names of people involved with stencils and craft paint. Place the stencil on the cover. Gently paint in the interior of the stencil with a thin brush. Set the stencil aside to dry.

    6

Attach a table number as the background for each page. Glue photos and other items to the pages, varying the angles of the items, overlapping papers, or cutting photos into unique shapes and sizes. Include photos and items that tie to the table number on each page. For example, add pictures of the people sitting at that specific table.
