Women wear headbands to hold their hair in place and off their face throughout the day. Headbands are a versatile accessory and can be worn at work or school, while exercising or lounging around the house. Many women match their headbands to their outfits. Since headbands are relatively inexpensive and very functional, women often own several headbands. Keeping your headbands organized will allow you to quickly find the headband you want to wear. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
- 1
Gather up all of your headbands. This includes everything from formal headbands to exercise headbands.
2Sort your headbands by use. You can use three different categories to make them easier to sort. Place exercise, casual and formal headbands into separate piles.
3Arrange each category of headband by color. Place similar colors next to each other within each group. For example, shades of blue headbands go together, shades of green headbands go together and shades of white headbands go together. If you only have one headband of a certain color, then it can stay on its own.
4Place the headbands on your headband holder according to their group and color. A headband holder is an elongated, padded cylinder on which headbands are placed. The cylinder shape helps maintain the form of headbands. Headband holders come in either vertical or horizontal styles, and can be purchased from boutique shops, online auction sites and stores that carry home goods and clothing accessories for women. Please see the "References" and "Resources" sections of this article for more information on where they can be purchased. To organize your headbands on the holder first place the formal headbands on the holder, keeping similar shades of color together. Any single colors can go on wherever you see fit. Repeat this process with both the casual and exercise headbands. You have now organized your headbands according to use and color.
