They are a fun and easy-to-make decoration. These place card holders add that special touch to your Christmas table that shows how much you care about every detail. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    1

Cut a very thin slice of foam into a square 2 inches by 2 inches or smaller, depending on the size of your Christmas balls. Make as many foam pieces as you will be having guests. Use a golf ball or something small and round to push into the center of the foam, creating a concave shape. Paint the pieces red or green.

    2

Take one Christmas ball for each guest and put a drop of instant glue on the bottom. Stick the ball to the foam so that it will stand straight up. Put an extra wire hanger in the top along with the original. There should be two wire hangers on each ball.

    3

Cut 4-inch by 2-inch pieces of card stock with your craft scissors, giving them a fancy border. Write the name of the guest on the card with a fine-point marker. Make the name fancy by drawing an upside-down candy cane for the letter J or a Christmas ball for the letter O. Decorate with Christmas stickers.

    4

Place the cards in between the two wires on the top of the ball. Now they are ready to be placed on the table for your guests.
